DS-ICP™
Defense Spray Instructor Certification Program (DS-ICP) will significantly enhance the skill level of both law enforcement and corrections-oriented trainers. This factory authorized , non-brand specific program is for experienced training officers who are assigned the responsibility to properly evaluate, different aerosol formulations, select a product, develope policy, and instruct their agencies personnel in the apprpriate use of aerosol defense spray.
DS-ICP™ includes "active simulation" training that focuses on the realities of control before, during, and after aerosol deployment, and transitions to other force options consistent with popular use of force continuum models as well as the contemporary "wheel" model.
DS-ICP™ certification is valid for five (5) years and permits the certified instructor to administer the CQB
Defense Spray Operator Course within his/her agency.
